Stephan Kimbel is a Swedish-American sound designer, musician and DJ based in Brooklyn, NY. Stephan holds a master's degree in Sonic Arts from Brooklyn College where he studied under Morton Subotnick and Ben Vida. Whether working on sound design for a film or producing a dance record under his alias SPF 50, his work explores texture, rhythm and storytelling through sound. His extensive experience mixing live sound for events gives Stephan’s work a dynamic feel. His work has been featured in commercials, branded content and film festivals worldwide.
